Preamble Collection | “Little Man in a Shoe”
The little man in the shoe is the personification of leaving a “mansion” to find home and solace in the “ghetto”. The mansion being the life and peace created for oneself. The ghetto being a life that’s idolized by some, but not true to her. Life outside the mansion is pure fantasy. It’s a little man in a shoe, waiting, unfit for purpose, and holding flowers. In an effort to distract from him being so small, the female constantly questions why she is so big. And instead of existing happily in the mansion she’s created, she dreams of being small.
Materials: paper, resin, flowers, faux, shell, a button and flat back rhinestone
In order to provide protection, enhancement and guide your eyes, each piece comes with a wall mount ready, rectangular black frame (.75”), featuring a hard plastic transparent cover.
